Call to Fasting and Prayer
As we look ahead to 2020, our leadership has set a goal of nurturing a culture of prayer at Alert. To begin the year, we would like to have 24 hours of prayer when someone from Alert is praying either at home or at the church. Please consider signing up for a 30 minute slot today. Also, we want to encourage our congregation to join us in committing to pray and fast for a day from time to time in 2020. We would like to fill the calendar with volunteers who are willing to participate. A sign-up sheet with the first three months will be available today for volunteers to sign up for a day to fast and pray.
College Student Care Packages
Every year around this time, we like to bless our college students with a care package. This year we will be gathering gift cards or monetary donations to welcome them back from winter break and a nice surprise for the new semester. If you feel led to give in this way, please give any donations to Pastor Dwight at your earliest convenience.
Covenant Women Bible Study
Scripture answers some of the most fundamental questions we have, such as: Who are we? Where do we belong? How do we live included in Christ? Join us on Tuesday nights starting fresh in January for an in-depth study in Galatians and Ephesians examining these passionate questions we have in our heart. We will meet at the VFW in Randolph from 6:30 to 8pm. This study is open to all women, so please invite your friends!
Trail Life Troop 0618 Pancake Feed
Our local Trail Life Troop will be having a pancake feed, on Saturday, January 11th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. here at church. Free will donation. Please come out and support our local troop.
Please be reminded that if you are responsible for submitting an annual report, it is time to be working on those. You can leave your reports in the church office. Thank you.
Dear Alert Family,
Thank you for the most generous Christmas gift! It is a joy to serve in our church, and I so look forward to what the Lord is going to do in 2020! You all are each a blessing to me in your own special way.
Thank you! LuAnn
Karen and I would like to thank the congregation for the generous love gift for Christmas. We are very grateful for your thoughtfulness and loving support. We look forward to serving you in the new year.
Pastor Dwight and Karen
Thank you so much for the extra blessing this Christmas! It was very much appreciated. I love serving my Alert church family and look forward to 2020!
If you are interested in ordering a t-shirt like the t-shirts designed for the Mexico Mission team, please visit with Rose Linhardt. This is a fundraiser for the mission trip coming up in the summer of 2020.
This winter our intentions are to have Sunday services unless there is a blizzard or severe ice storm. In case of a cancellation, our deacons/deaconess will call you and let you know, or you can check the church Facebook page.
If you are interested in joining our church, instructions and applications can be picked up in the church office. They are located on the wall in the church office.
