Live Streaming the Service
In addition to live streaming our Worship service online, we have closed circuit streaming in the old sanctuary for those who prefer to wear a mask and practice social distancing while meeting in person.
Praisefest Prayer Tent
A prayer tent will be set up on Saturday, September 24 during Praisefest in Manhattan where people can walk in and ask for prayer. Pastor Dwight is asking for volunteers who would be willing to be a part of the prayer team. Please let him know this week if you are interested in serving. We will have a meeting with the coordinator on Sunday, September 11 at 1 p.m. at Longhorn’s in Manhattan.
A Woman After God’s Own Heart Conference – Jesus, He’s Still The Answer on October 28 & 29th in Kansas City is being hosted by Lynda Randle Ministries. Red Cross Babysitting Certification Course
The Keepers of the Faith girls, in an attempt to develop responsible young ladies to be mother’ helpers and reliable babysitters, will be attending a Red Cross Babysitting Certification Course on Saturday, September 10th, from 9am-3pm in the Alert Church basement. This class is for ages 10+ (or very responsible and attentive 8- or 9-year-olds). There are 15 available spots for this class- first come first serve. The class and certification costs $20, due to Jennifer Perry by Sep. 3, along with name of participants and contact info.
