Offering Announcement
If the Lord leads you to give, please leave your offering in the offering plates which are in the foyer.
GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
We still need some volunteers to mow the church yard at least thru the end of September possibly some weeks in October. If you would be willing to sign up and mow, please let Josh or Kelly Wendland know. If the lawn does not need mowed, you are off the hook for the week! If you do use the last of the gas, please let Josh Wendland know so it can be filled for the next person.
Wednesday Evening Bible Study
You are invited to live in light of the great and true story of what God has done in the past, what he is doing today, and what he will do in the future. We will study how life is different when we live in light of the cross, the Father’s love, forgiveness, Heaven, the Kingdom, and much more. We will meet Wednesday nights starting September 9th thru October 28th in the fellowship hall. For those who would like to join virtual, here is the zoom link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85076123258
Nursery Available during Worship in September
We will be offering the nursery during the worship service, on a temporary basis, for the month of September. We will reassess whether or not to continue after that, so keep an eye out for updates as things progress.
Ever thought about teaching Sunday School?
For the last two years we have been working with a rotating schedule for the Pre-K and Kinder Sunday School class, and we would love to be able to develop more consistency for them. The curriculum is designed for flexibility, including a time of bonding with the kids, then a lesson with activities, and then a time of prayer. You can even do songs with the kids if you like! You will have a solid list of substitutes for Sundays you cannot be there, too. Please let Jenny Sump or Pastor Stephanie know if you have questions or are interested.
No More Bull (just Hamburger)
The meat has been picked up and is in the freezer downstairs. Please give however the Spirit leads you. If you cannot give but need the meat, help yourself.
Meals for Chaffee Family
Let us help make life a little easier for the Chaffee family by providing meals. If you feel led to make something for them, you can leave it at church with their name on it, and we will make sure it gets to them. Thank you in advance!
Continue to look for clearance school supplies as well as musical instruments and washcloths or donate money for us to purchase. Some items that are extremely helpful in addition to school supplies this month, fishing line, sewing needles, clothesline, screws and nails, and small tools. Dates for packing: September 15th from 10am-12pm we will work on packing school supplies, September 29th from 10am-12pm we will work on packing sewing kits, September 21 at 6pm we will pack older girls boxes, and on September 28 at 6pm we will pack older boy boxes.
Let us bless Merlin and April Wendland with some freezer meals. If you want to contribute something, a meal for two would be appreciated. We need to watch sugar content and be sure to include directions for baking, etc. Meals can be left in the upright freezer in the kitchen. Kelly will pick up and deliver. If anyone has questions, please contact Donna Rundquist. Thanks in advance.
If you are interested in joining our church, instructions and applications can be picked up in the church office. They are located on the half-wall.
Bibles
Study Bibles are available for those who do not have a Bible of their own. You may pick one up at the Welcome Center. The Bibles are provided as a gift to you.
