Live Streaming the service
In addition to live streaming our Worship service online, we now have closed circuit streaming in the old sanctuary for those who prefer to wear a mask and practice social distancing while meeting in person.
5th Quarter in Clay Center
5th quarter is a gathering for students grades 9-12. It will be after the first home football game, Friday, September 10th. We will meet on the football field after the game from approximately 9:30-11:00pm. Games and food will be provided. Sponsored by Clay County Community High School YLINK Club and the Clay Center Ministerial Association. Thank you!
Teacher Appreciation Meal
Our Sunday School/Volunteer Appreciation Lunch will be held on September 12th at noon in the Fellowship Hall. Whether you serve as a Sunday School Teacher, rotate in Children’s Church or helped the week of VBS – we appreciate YOU! Lunch will be catered by The Farmhouse & your whole family is welcome! PLEASE RSVP to Autumn Cercone no later than TODAY.
Breathe Gathering
October 1-3, Covenant Cedars Bible Camp. The heart and vision of Breathe is to ENCOURAGE women in their faith journey, EQUIP them through teaching and community connection with resources for personal growth & spiritual development, so that they can fully ENGAGE their world/sphere of influence. Breathe will utilize a multi-speaker format, each speaker will build upon the previous and lead us into the next. Extra bonus: Our own Pastor Stephanie will be guest speaking at this event. S H O E B O X needs are:
Crafts & activities: Puzzles, binoculars, compass, sewing kits, playing cards, jump ropes, coloring books, small tool set with nails, work gloves, rope, fishing kit, rubber band bracelets, chalk, gardening tools, jewelry making kit, small travel size board games, construction paper, marbles and jacks, fidgets, rubix cube
Toys: foam balls, small etch a sketch, kaleidoscope, baseball or tennis balls, yo-yo, toy cars, finger puppets, slinky, barbies, small play sets, small Lego sets, slinky
Clothing: plain t shirts, shoes especially flip flops, sunglasses, hats
We need to focus on these above items. Collection week is November 15-22 so will begin packing shoeboxes next month. If you don’t have time to shop, a money donation may be given to Amber Linhardt or it may be placed in the shoebox tote located in the coat rack area. Envelopes to place your donation in are available in the Shoebox Tote. There are several women who are willing to shop for the needed shoebox items.

Please check the lost and found pile in the church office as well as the coat rack. There are MANY things that want to find a home!
