PRAYER MINISTRY

Church Representative for the Northern Riley County Food Pantry
Here is what it would involve:
– Attend the quarterly meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. in Riley.
– Be in charge of the month of February in finding 2 volunteers plus yourself to “man” the food pantry every Saturday in February from 10 to 12.
– Willing to purchase groceries for the food pantry (you would be reimbursed) several times during the year.
– At least a 2 year commitment on the board but many more years on the board is welcome.

150th Anniversary
In October of 2024, Alert Covenant Church will be celebrating our 150th Anniversary. Presently a planning committee is being formed. If you would like to be a part of this planning committee, please tell Pastor Dwight.
Church Administrative Secretary Position Opening
This is a part-time position, and the church is seeking applications. A job description can be found in the church office. If you have any questions, please feel free to visit with Pastor Dwight. Please be in prayer for this position.
Annual Reports
With the close of another year, it is time for the Annual reports to be written and submitted to Randi so that she can compile them into the Annual Booklet. So, to those who are responsible for writing a report, please help Randi by submitting your report as soon as possible.
Diaper Shower
With the arrival of Luella Lipss, let us bless the Lipss family with diapers! It is an Alert tradition to shower every new arrival with plenty of diapers, big and small. If you feel led to bless the Lipss family, you can leave your gift by the mailboxes with their name, for them to pick up at their convenience.
Trail Life Pancake Feed
The Trail Life Pancake feed has been moved to Saturday, January 27th from 5:30-7 p.m.
Church Membership
If you are interested in joining our church, instructions and applications can be picked up in the church office.
Bibles
Study Bibles are available for those who do not have a Bible of their own. You may pick one up at the Welcome Center. The Bibles are provided as a gift to you.
