Today is the National Life Chain Sunday. The Life Chain is the largest, peaceful, prayerful, pro-life public witness in the world. Life Chains will be held throughout the US and Canada.
Please join us today to stand up for Life! We will meet at the First Baptist Church in Clay Center at 2:30 for further instructions and then pray on the sidewalks at the intersection of Highway’s 15 & 24 from 3-4 p.m. Let us all do our part to defend pre-born babies!
Apprenticeship with Jesus
Now is a great time to start a new Sunday school class! This Fall Pastor Stephanie’s class will learn to live like the Master. Our way of living the Christian life is often more about intellect than experience. In this new class you will learn different ways to actively practice being with Jesus day in and day out. Each week will be a new commitment to activities to help you bring your faith into real life. Begins today!

Women’s Encounter
Women’s Encounter can be described as a weekend where women encounter Christ in ways that are perhaps new or long-since felt. Through teaching, testimonies, and worship we’ll dive deep into what it means to be a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. You’ll learn more about yourself, the body of believers around you, and most importantly, the God who created you. Get to know the sisters you have in the Lord and the community that awaits you. October 8-10
