150th Anniversary
Alert’s 150th Anniversary will begin with Worship at 9:30, followed by a fellowship time and then returning to the sanctuary for pictures, history telling by Kevin Larson, and other stories, and then concluding with a catered meal at around 12:30 p.m.
150th Anniversary is just one week away!!!
*Children’s Bell Choir will be playing during the first hour of the morning service.
*There will be no Sunday School.
*There will be a nursery available during the second hour of the morning.
* We will have regular morning worship followed by a time of refreshments and a second hour with a time of history, pictures and testimonies.
* The nursery will be available after the coffee break on Oct 13th, as we continue the celebration in the sanctuary.
If you have items pertaining to Alert church that you would like displayed for our 150th anniversary celebration, please try to have them to the church by Sun Oct 4th or early the next week. Also, if you signed up to make cookies for coffee time on Oct 13th, we would appreciate if possible having at least some cookies to the church by Sat Oct 12th, as we will need to make up cookie plates prior to the service on Sunday.

Alert Hayrack ride and Weeny Roast
Please plan to join us for fellowship and fun! The yearly Alert hayrack ride and weeny roast has been scheduled for October 27. Departure is shortly after Sunday School. We always have a great time on the hayrack ride that takes us to the potluck weeny roast. Paper goods, drinks, hotdogs and buns, s’mores, and roasting sticks will be provided. Please bring a side or dessert to share! The hayrack(s) will return to Alert Covenant Church following the meal. Jarod and Katie Wendland will try to answer any questions you may have.
