GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Church in Ministry
With the end of the year fast approaching, Randi would like to get a jump start on lists for our church in ministry. The lists include: Greeters, Nursery, Scripture reading, children’s sermon & children’s church, candle lighters, and ushers. In the foyer, you can find a short form to fill out to update your contact information and indicate what lists you would like to be on.
T-Shirts
If you are interested in ordering a t-shirt like the t-shirts designed for the Mexico Mission team, please visit with Rose Linhardt. This is a fundraiser for the mission trip coming up in the summer of 2020.
Cancellations
This winter our intentions are to have Sunday services unless there is a blizzard or severe ice storm. In case of a cancellation, our deacons/deaconess will call you and let you know, or you can check the church Facebook page.
Christmas Caroling
Our annual night of caroling is coming up on December 8th. We’ll visit several people in Clay Center, the Leonardville nursing home, and many around the area of the church, then have dinner in Riley at Gambino’s. We’d love to bless those we visit with cookies, so please bring a dozen by that Sunday morning so we can get them packed up!
Christmas Craft
Sunday afternoon, December 8th at 3pm we’ll be making crafts with the kids before we go caroling. Join us for this fun time, sharing Christmas joy with others.
Christmas Program
All kids from 1st thru 6th grade who can be in the Christmas program on December 15th will be dismissed after the Children’s Sermon for practice today.
Cookie Exchange
Join us for our annual cookie exchange! Saturday, December 7th at 9:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Please bring: 6 dozen cookies or candy (all the same recipe), a copy of the recipe, a container for the cookies you will take home, and a brunch food or appetizer. 6 of your cookies will go to the Manhattan Emergency Shelter! See Debbie Sump or Donna Rundquist for more details
