Let Rose or Randi know if you want a girl to bless at Victory Village for Christmas and pray for and encourage through the rest of the school year. For shoeboxes this year, we will pack the younger kids November 10th. We will have a meal first and then pack. It is so much fun so please think about joining us! We can still use: 100 bars of Ivory soap, aluminum foil (sheets or regular), needles to air up balls, wide tooth combs, old towels, soccer balls.
Church Membership
If you are interested in joining our church, instructions and applications can be picked up in the church office. They are located on the half-wall.
Bibles
Study Bibles are available for those who do not have a Bible of their own. You may pick one up at the Welcome Center. The Bibles are provided as a gift to you.
Save the Date
Sunday, November 17th we are bringing back an old tradition: Offerfest! Join us that Sunday evening as we celebrate all that God is doing in our church and in the world. We will welcome inmates from the Ellsworth Correctional Facility, who will provide powerful testimony of God’s work in their hearts. We will have a potluck meal beforehand.
On Saturday, October 19th – the Food Pantry located in Riley was very busy. There were 20 families with a total of 66 people who picked up food that day which is one of the largest Saturdays in which food needs were
met. If you would like to donate food items – here are some suggestions:
– Saltine Crackers – Brownie mix – Chicken Noodle Soup – Cream of Chicken Soup – Peanut Butter (both crunchy and smooth) – Rice-a-Roni – Hamburger Helper – Canned Pasta with meat – Egg Noodles – Instant mashed potatoes – any non-perishable items
For your donation convenience, there are 2 locations to leave your donation. Lime green tote by the coat rack in the main sanctuary area OR a basket is located by the south entrance to the Fellowship Hall.
