Coffee and Conversation (Covenant Women)
Continuing in our “Experiencing God” series, this time we will talk about how we experience God in prayer. We’ll hear from 3 women who are known to be women of prayer – all who pray very differently! (Joyce Mullin, Donna Sullivan, and Cindy Kulp) Join us Saturday, January 15th at 9 a.m. A coffee bar and a light breakfast from Panera is planned, along with a panel Q & A and small group table discussion. Childcare will be provided!
New Sunday School Class, January 9th
Belief & Skepticism
There are several hard questions that most often keep people from believing in God – do you know what they are and are you prepared to answer them when someone asks? Questions such as:
-How can you say there is only one way to God?
-What gives you the right to tell me how to live my life?
-Why does God allow suffering?
-Why is there so much evil in the world?
These questions come from a real and often painful place for people who have not come to know Christ. Learn how to not only engage in these hard questions, but how to listen and respond to those with these questions and struggles in a gracious way.
The Mall family welcomed Tucker Bennett into the world Monday, December 20th at 2:59 a.m. weighing 6 lbs. 12 oz and 20” long! Congratulations to Dustin, Shelby, Remington & Beau on your new addition to your family! What a wonderful blessing!
