Winter Get-Away 2019
Winter Get Away is for children 2nd-6th grade who can come together and connect with friends they made at Covenant Kids Camp this past summer while also worshiping, playing fun games and biblical learning. This year’s winter get away will be February 23 at Countryside Covenant Church in McPherson, KS. If your child is interested, please visit with Pastor Stephanie. Registration is due by February 17th.
The Art of Parenting
The Art of Parenting, an 8 session video based study for parents that equip them to “aim your child’s heart toward God” with intentional, biblical teaching and Christ centered plans. Based on Psalm 127:4, the eight sessions feature scenes from Family Life’s feature film “Like Arrows”, plus interviews with parenting experts and stories from parents who share their experience. If you are still interested in attending this class, please feel free to join us.
Covenant Women!
Join us for our first Coffee and Conversation of 2019 on March 2 at 9:00 a.m.! We will have a light breakfast, coffee, and fellowship together. Our speaker this time is Jael Boeschling, who will give us her powerful testimony, called, “A Tale of Four Miscarriages: Experiencing God’s Grace in Seasons of Loss.” Her heart is that those who attend would see and experience God’s grace in the midst of their past or present struggle, regardless of what that is. Childcare will be provided.
Mexico Mission Trip
Alert is sending a team to Nicolas Romero, Mexico this summer to help the Covenant Church with their Bible School. We are still waiting for confirmation of travel dates, but our trip will probably be late July and early August. Merge staff would like to know how many are planning to go, so if you have a desire to go this summer, please let Pastor Dwight know.
The Art of Marriage
Great marriages don’t just happen, they require hard work. The Art of Marriage is a six session video based series that is very practical and relevant to the marital challenges of today. We are offering this course February 17, 24, and March 3 following a lunch at noon. If you attended this course last Fall, you are welcome to attend again.
