Because of our increased attendance and our desire to be sensitive to the needs of visitors, it will be helpful for them to find seating if we who arrive earlier move toward the center of the row and toward the front.

Winter Getaways for Elementary Kids

Covenant Kids Camp is hosting a Winter Getaway at the Covenant Church in Lindsborg on February 29^th. If your child is age 2^nd – 6^th Grade and may be interested in going to Rock Springs this summer for camps, this is a great opportunity to get a fun preview of what it will be like. If your child has gone to Covenant Kids Camp, this is a fun chance for them to see their friends from last year! Registration is required and the forms are in the church office. See Pastor Stephanie with any questions you have.

Victory Village/Shoebox

Please remember to send cards and letters of encouragement to your Victory Village girl. If you need the address again, please contact Rose or Randi.  For shoe boxes this month we are collecting soap any type but prefer Ivory.  Also, be looking for washcloths, marbles, fishing hooks, sewing needles, and donations towards purchasing the shoe boxes.

If: Gathering Event

We are co-hosting this year’s If:Gathering event at the Clay Center Covenant Church February 28^th – February 29^th. Women are invited to turn off all the noise, get in the Word, experience powerful teaching, dive into authentic conversations, worship Jesus, and hear stories that will compel you to take your next steps towards life & peace. Call to Fasting and Prayer- Don’t Forget!

We are committed to covering 2020 in prayer and fasting as a church body. We have a quarterly schedule out in the foyer for people to sign up to pray and fast and some days are still open for this quarter. Please consider choosing a day to set aside for this spiritual discipline.

Financial Peace University

We are considering offering Financial Peace University beginning March 1^st depending upon how much interest there is. The course is nine weeks long and we would hold the course on Sunday evenings at 5:00 p.m. with a meal provided. Each session would be about one and a half hours. Dave Ramsey is the presenter via video and each session concludes with discussion over the contents. If you are interested in participating, please tell Pastor Dwight.

T-Shirts

If you are interested in ordering a t-shirt like the t-shirts designed for the Mexico Mission team, please visit with Rose Linhardt. This is a fundraiser for the mission trip coming up in the summer of 2020.

Cancellations

This winter our intentions are to have Sunday services unless there is a blizzard or severe ice storm. In case of a cancellation, our deacons/deaconess will call you and let you know, or you can check the church Facebook page.
