The tax preparation is free to eligible taxpayers and all tax preparers are certified for tax preparation by the IRS. For more information, please see the announcement on the main bulletin board in the hallway west of the mailboxes.
Lost & Found
Please check the lost and found table in the foyer for anything that may belong to you. The pile is getting quite large. LAST WEEK before it is gone!

The Manhattan Emergency Shelter is in need of several things. High demand items: Bath and hand towels, trash bags, meat, men’s underwear, common over the counter medications, toiletries, copy paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, large diapers, baby wipes and coffee. There is a tub underneath the coat rack if anyone would like to donate. Questions? See Donna Rundquist.
Women’s Encounter
The next Women’s Encounter will be March 5-7, 2021. To register please visit https://women.encounterthecross.com/. (Note: this is a new website) If you have any questions, please contact Kara Bergsten 785-632-0150 or Jenny Sump 785-410-9291.
Conflict Resolution
For the next two Sundays, we will take a look at dealing with conflict in our everyday lives and have some real talk about those challenges. Our conversation will lead us towards equipping us to respond to conflict biblically, and to transforming the challenging relationships with the power of the Gospel. Join us at 11am in the old sanctuary (through the double wood doors west of the restrooms).
Services with Stones Cry, February 20th, 7 PM (potluck at 6 PM) and February 21st, 9:30 AM at Alert Covenant Church north of Leonardville. The music will include worship and inspirational songs in an easy listening style. 1999 was the beginning of “Sound Of The Trumpet” and is now “Stones Cry.” The inspiration for the new name comes from Luke 19:40. The ministry now consists of Joel Finnesgard, his wife (of 31 years) June and their children Joy (14) and Josiah (12). Joel is still playing the trumpet as well as some bass and electric guitar. June is on drums and singing. Joy is providing lead vocal on several songs along with acoustic guitar, violin and keyboard. Josiah is filling in on the electric bass, electric guitar, hollow body 12 string electric guitar and some singing. The Finnesgards enjoy sharing this ministry throughout much of the country. Most winters find them in the southern half of the country and other regions during the rest of the year. More information, video, audio and concert dates can be found at www.stonescry.net. You can also follow them on Facebook at Stones Cry and Instagram @stonescryofficial A free-will offering will be received for Stones Cry.
