Diaper Shower
With the new arrival of three new babies here at Alert, let us bless the Chafee, Wright, and Mitoska family with diapers! It is an Alert tradition to shower every new arrival with plenty of diapers, big and small. If you feel led to bless these families, you can leave your gift by the mailboxes with their name, for them to pick up at their convenience.
Attention Ladies
The women of the Randolph United Methodist Church have extended an invitation to the Alert women to join them for a salad supper on Thursday, April 5th at 6:30 p.m. Ben Schardein will entertain the group with music. Please RSVP to Ruby Peter by April 1. (293-5382 or 632-0325)
Thank You
On behalf of Gideons International, thank you for your generous support of $697.00 for Bible printing and distribution.
Safety & Security Team initial meeting will take place immediately after church services today. Anyone interested (or would like to know more about the new ministry) is encouraged to attend.
The younger adult Sunday School is finishing up the study on priorities and will be doing a short study the next few weeks on preparing our hearts for Holy Week and the celebration of Easter. We’ll begin a new study after the holiday.
Women’s Connect Salad Supper! Join us Thursday, March 29th at 6pm for discussion and fellowship where we will learn about “Dealing with Sandpaper People”. Renee Langvardt will share with us some biblical wisdom on loving one another well, even when they are unlovable, and Becca Haugaard will also be showing us how to make our own salt and sugar scrubs! Bring a salad for dinner and toothbrushes and toothpaste to help the Teen Foster Camps this summer.
Covenant Cedars Work Days
Give Your Time, Build His Kingdom
Covenant Cedars Bible Camp offers a weekend opportunity for our church to serve together as they prepare camp for the summer. Covenant Cedars provides free lodging and meals to volunteer groups. “There will also be devotions and worship led by the staff of Covenant Cedars. Man does not live on bread alone, and spiritual development is a huge part of our volunteer weekends. Join us for a weekend of spiritual renewal in building His kingdom.”
Please speak with Andy Sedlacek if you feel led to go help at Covenant Cedars.
Our church will be going the weekend of April 13-14. We will leave on Friday night, work all day Saturday and return home Saturday night.
