ENGAGE 2022

Coffee and Conversation – April 9th
In the last year, we’ve learned a great deal from the stories of others about the different ways we can experience God’s presence. It’s shown us how our own unique perspectives are often where God meets us and has helped us understand the diverse and amazing ways God works in our lives. This time, we’ll hear from Debbie Sump, Ann Buchanan, and LuAnn Lund, as they share how they grow and learn from experiencing God’s presence through His Word.
A coffee bar and a light breakfast from Panera is planned, along with a panel Q & A and small group table discussion. Join us in the new April 9th at 9am. Childcare will be provided!
Church Reservations
With the continued growth of our church, I wanted to remind everyone how the use of the church works. If you plan to have an event or use any part of the church for a gathering, please let Randi know so she can get it on the calendar, so nothing is double booked. We do have a reservation form that should be filled out if the event involves people coming from outside our church family or is a large event.

“The Sufficiency and Supremacy of Jesus” – New Study Begins This Week
The book of Colossians is one of the most beautifully written books of the Bible, with language describing Jesus that is second to none. The sufficiency and supremacy of Christ is the theme as the church at Colossae was struggling to fight against false teachers about who Jesus was. Paul presents Christ as the center of the universe, not only as the active Creator but also as the recipient of creation—in His taking on of human flesh. Christ was and is the visible image of the invisible God, containing within Himself the fullness of Deity. Starting Wednesday, March 23th.
Clay County Middle School FCA – Ty Zimmerman
Ty Zimmerman is inviting Clay County residents to hear more about the ministry of Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Currently there is a strong FCA chapter in the high school and he is helping to spearhead an FCA chapter with the middle school students. This dessert reception will be held at Common Ground.
