Flashlight (solar-powered or hand-crank; if battery operated, be sure to include extra batteries of the type needed)
Compact mirror Nail clippers and or nail files
Stick deodorant Washable/reusable cloth menstrual pads
Scarves, gloves, and hats (They should start to be on sale now.)
We already have over 400 wash clothes and 244 bars of soap!
Please place any donated items for shoeboxes in the designated totes under the coat rack. This will help keep everything organized. Thank you!
Bible Study for 4th-6th grade girls
Remember Middle School, those glorious years when everyone got along, built each other up and grew in strength, faith, and character? Yeah, me neither. “Just Us Girls,” a Bible study for 4th-6th grade girls will begin tonight March 21 at 6 p.m. to help our young ladies at Alert be prepared for the challenges of Middle School – to not only survive but thrive – and take Christ into the mission field that is their school. After that it will be held the second and fourth Sunday of each month, alternating between the church building on the second Sunday when the older youth have Presence and Donna Sullivan’s house at 16596 Madison Road, Riley on the fourth Sunday. Books for Baby Abbey
Tyson Strauss & Martha Hammer started attending Alert when Abbey was just a few weeks old, and we missed out on showering them. Since baby Abbey rocks cloth diapers, instead let us shower her with books to fill her bookshelf. There is a woven basket under the coat rack for anyone who feels led to gift Abbey with a book.
Book Shower
A book shower is being held Saturday, March 27th at 9:30 a.m. for Willow Rose Linhardt.
One small request, and we hope it’s not hard.
Please bring a book instead of a gift.
You can sign the inside cover with a note from you!
Your book will be cherished, well-loved or brand new.
But please don’t feel obligated. We will leave that up to you.
Church Membership
If you are interested in joining our church, instructions and applications can be picked up in the church office. They are located on the wall in the church office.
Bibles
Study Bibles are available for those who do not have a Bible of their own. You may pick one up at the Welcome Center. The Bibles are provided as a gift to you.
