Personalize Your Own Prayer Journal
The Renfros are hosting this special event for our church as we focus on discipleship and prayer for 2020! Bring yourself, some photos and cards that have special meaning if you wish, and you’ll leave with some practical prayer suggestions, the richness of testimonies from other folks, a custom prayer journal for you! Light refreshments will be provided. Saturday, March 28, 6-9 p.m. or Sunday, March 29, after church to 3pm (come and go). 12720 Whippoorwill Ln. in Randolph.
Covenant Women
Join us for our first Coffee and Conversation in 2020! Saturday, March 28th, 9am – 11am on Conflict Resolution. This topic has been requested numerous times! Drawing from Ken Sande’s work at Peacemaker Ministries, we will look at dealing with conflict in our everyday lives and have some real talk about those challenges. Around a light breakfast (and of course, coffee) our conversation will lead us towards equipping us to respond to conflict biblically, and to transforming the challenging relationships with the power of the Gospel.
Seating
Because of our increased attendance and our desire to be sensitive to the needs of visitors, it will be helpful for them to find seating if we who arrive earlier move toward the center of the row and toward the front.
Shoebox
Huge thank you to those that helped with the purchase of the soccer balls and pumps. We were able to get 100 balls and pumps. We are still needing monetary donations for the purchase of shoeboxes. Be looking for marbles, fishing hooks, jump ropes, clothesline and clothespins this month.
Call to Fasting and Prayer- Don’t Forget!
We are committed to covering 2020 in prayer and fasting as a church body. We have a quarterly schedule out in the foyer for people to sign up to pray and fast and some days are still open for this quarter. Please consider choosing a day to set aside for this spiritual discipline.
T-Shirts
If you are interested in ordering a t-shirt like the t-shirts designed for the Mexico Mission team, please visit with Rose Linhardt. This is a fundraiser for the mission trip coming up in the summer of 2020.
Creation Family Camp
Alpha Omega Institute invites you to Creation Camp held at Camp Witness in North Central Nebraska. This camp is meant to fortify you and your family with the truth of God’s Word beginning from Genesis 1:1. Come alone or bring your kids! Grandparents with grandkids are welcome, too. They need to hear the Biblical and scientific evidence that God is their creator not evolution. This is a family-oriented camp with amazingly illustrated Creation teaching, hands on activities, and recreational activities for younger children, teens and adults. May 22-25, 2020. Check out their website www.discovercreation.com for more information.
