SCUBA music is here! We have CD’s and streaming codes available for you to have to help your kids get psyched for VBS! If you have children attending VBS, please feel to help yourself to either a CD or postcard with a code. Just sign on the clipboard at the table so I know who has received one and ENOY!
SCUBA donation table is also here! So many have asked how you can help, here’s your chance! Just grab a fish or two or three and purchase the desired items. There will be a basket or box available starting next Sunday to accept your donations. Thanks so very much!
Congratulations!
We extend our congratulations to Josh & Kaci Goff on the birth of their daughter Ada Jane, born May 10th. Ada joins her siblings, Elsie and Tice. Please remember them in your prayers.
Diaper Shower
With the arrival of Ada Goff, let us bless the Goff family with diapers! It is an Alert tradition to shower every new arrival with plenty of diapers, big and small. If you feel led to bless the Goff family, you can leave your gift by the mailboxes with their name, for them to pick up at their convenience.
Prayer Partner Co-Coordinator
Our prayer partners play such a vital role in lifting our campers and staff in prayer while attending Camp L.I.T. We need another Prayer Partner Co-Coordinator to work side by side with Donna Rundquist (the other Prayer Partner Co-Coordinator).
What are the responsibilities of a Prayer Partner Co-Coordinator?
** The Co-Coordinators would make sure there were enough prayer partners signed up for each camp. Currently, we have a list of names who wish to be a prayer partner, but definitely more prayer partners are needed.
*Prior to each camp, you would receive a list of campers and support staff names. You would need to match names with prayer partners.
*Each prayer partner will be asked to write a note of encouragement (which could include a Bible Verse) before camp starts and then turn their note back to the Co-Coordinators.
*The Co-Coordinators would make sure that the notes are taken to camp.

Children’s Church To allow our volunteers a chance for a break this summer, we will not be holding Children’s Church during the months June, July, and August.
Jesus said “Let the little children come to Me.” Matthew 19:14 It’s good and important that you include your children in the worship service. They learn to pray, sing, read scripture and listen to teaching by your example!
-Don’t be discouraged by squirms and noises. Correct them, yes, but don’t feel that it makes you unwelcome – this is how they learn! We understand that raising children in the instruction and training of the Lord requires persistence, consistency, and a lot of correction – be encouraged that others are praying for you as you teach your children to revere the Lord.
-Sit near the front: there are fewer distractions, and they can see what’s going on! That makes it much easier for children to engage in the service.
-Keep a special “church” bag that has a quiet toy, coloring, or other favorite item that is only available to them on Sundays during a church service.
