VBS News and Notes
- The VBS music is here! Parents, stop by the donation table to pick up your CD or download code! Please sign the pick-up list so we know who still needs to receive the music.
- THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU…..to all who picked up donation item needs! Please have your items here to church by June 1st. The white tub will either be under the donation table, or under the coat rack if I pick the table up.
- Our missions project this year will be gathering donations to send to Job and Adria Gomez to purchase backpacks and school supplies for children in Honduras. Each backpack full of supplies costs approximately $35.00. We are excited to partner with them to provide an opportunity to share Jesus’ light and love with children in their area!
- If you haven’t had the opportunity to register your child yet….the link it: myvbs.org/alert. Thanks to all who have already signed up as it helps in the planning process. Questions? Call or text LuAnn at 785-632-0397
- We ask that you continue to be in prayer for VBS in the coming weeks. We know that God loves each child who walks through the door of our church, and desires for them to receive Him into their heart. Pray for the children, the adult volunteers, planning, safety and an opportunity for shine Jesus’ light!
Costume Jewelry needed!
Camp LIT will be having a “prom” night at our Girls’ camp (June 3) and we need jewelry for them to wear with their formal gowns. It can be earrings, necklaces and bracelets. Please be aware that you will not get these items back. Questions, contact Karen Rundquist.
Your donations may be left in the blue basket that is located under the mailboxes near the Fellowship Hall.
