Ever thought about teaching Sunday School?
For the last two years we have been working with a rotating schedule for the Pre-K and Kinder Sunday School class, and we would love to be able to develop more consistency for them. The curriculum is designed for flexibility, including a time of bonding with the kids, then a lesson with activities, and then a time of prayer. You can even do songs with the kids if you like! You will have a solid list of substitutes for Sundays you cannot be there, too. Please let Jenny Sump or Pastor Stephanie know if you have questions or are interested.
Let us help make life a little easier for the Chaffee family by providing meals. If you feel led to make something for them, you can leave it at church with their name on it, and we will make sure it gets to them. Thank you in advance!
The meat has been picked up and is in the freezer downstairs. Please give however the Spirit leads you. If you cannot give but need the meat, help yourself.

Shoeboxes
School supplies sales are a great time for us to buy shoebox supplies. Please pick up extra supplies if possible…esp. colored pencils, pencil sharpeners, crayons…. or donate money for us to purchase. Some items that are extremely helpful in addition to school supplies this month, fishing line, sewing needles, clothesline, screws and nails, and small tools. We will do shoebox packing differently this year. We will have many small packing opportunities also many projects that can be done at home. Please let Rose Linhardt know if you want to participate and she will give you options.
Let us bless Merlin and April Wendland with some freezer meals. If you want to contribute something, a meal for two would be appreciated. We need to watch sugar content and be sure to include directions for baking, etc. Meals can be left in the upright freezer in the kitchen. Kelly will pick up and deliver. If anyone has questions, please contact Donna Rundquist. Thanks in advance.
SchoolaPalooza Update
We have been working with the administration at both RC and BV school districts for the past month as they assess their needs this year, which are much different from last year. We are donating tissues, sanitizing wipes, gloves, hand sanitizer and reams of paper throughout the year as the districts need, hoping to ease some of the financial burden added because of the pandemic. Both school districts have been great to work with and are very appreciative! Thank you all for your continuing generosity so that we can help make our schools stronger and show the love of Christ to our students and faculty.
