5th Quarter in Clay Center
5th quarter is a gathering for students grades 9-12. It will be after the first home football game, Friday September 10th. We will meet on the football field after the game from approximately 930-1100pm. Games and food will be provided. Sponsored by Clay County Community High School YLINK Club and the Clay County Ministerial Association. Thank you!
Teacher Appreciation Meal
Our Sunday School/Volunteer Appreciation Lunch will be held on September 12th at noon in the Fellowship Hall. Whether you serve as a Sunday School Teacher, rotate in Children’s Church or helped the week of VBS – we appreciate YOU! Lunch will be catered by The Farmhouse & your whole family is welcome! PLEASE RSVP to Autumn Cercone no later than September 5th.
S H O E B O X needs are:
This is a great time to pick up EXTRA school supplies for the shoeboxes.
School supplies needed are:
colored pencils pencils pencil sharpeners crayons
rulers glue sticks scissors solar powered calculators
notebooks coloring books
Other needed items are: fishing line, sewing needles, clothesline, screws and nails, and small hand tools.
We are still working hard to reach our goal. If you don’t have time to shop, a money donation may be given to Amber Linhardt or it may be placed in the shoebox tote located in the coat rack area. Envelopes to place your donation in are available in the Shoebox Tote. There are several women who are willing to shop for the needed shoebox items.

Please check the lost and found pile by the church office as well as the coat rack. There are MANY things that want to find a home!
Breathe Gathering
October 1-3, Covenant Cedars Bible Camp. The heart and vision of Breathe is to ENCOURAGE women in their faith journey, EQUIP them through teaching and community connection with resources for personal growth & spiritual development, so that they can fully ENGAGE their world/sphere of influence. Breathe will utilize a multi-speaker format, each speaker will build upon the previous and lead us into the next. Extra bonus: Our own Pastor Stephanie will be guest speaking at this event. Bibles
Study Bibles are available for those who do not have a Bible of their own. You may pick one up at the Welcome Center. The Bibles are provided as a gift to you.
