CarePortal

If you would like to help with the following need as part of our involvement with CarePortal, here is the current need:

We have 52 students at RCGS whose families receive SNAP benefits to help with food costs. At this time with the government shutdown, those benefits are no longer available. This would allow Jessica Whitesell to send home “snack bags” with kid friendly food items like mac n cheese cups, PB&Js, fruit, soup, and cereal, to assist those students who are food insecure at this time. Grocery gift cards or cash would be appreciated. You can bring these items to Alert.

Samaritan’s Purse Christmas Shoe Box Ministry

This year we are inviting individuals and families to get more personally involved with the Operation Christmas Shoe Box ministry by taking boxes home and adding gifts to fill them and then bringing them back to the church. We have more empty boxes available today and you will see that the boxes are labeled. Please choose what gender and age child you would like to fill a box for and then mark the label accordingly. There is a list in each box of suggested gifts to include and a QR code to access Samaritan’s Purse for questions about appropriate gifts. Please return the boxes anytime, but no later than November 9th.
