Karen and I would like to thank the Alert Congregation for the beautiful plant arrangement in memory of Dwight’s father, Dean Diller, who went home to be with the Lord. Thank you for your thoughtfulness, your prayers, your contributions toward Dean’s memorial fund, and your loving support.

 

SchoolaPalooza is over, but the school supplies are still available!  If you were unable to make it, or if you know someone who could use some school supplies, visit the fellowship hall, and take anything you need.  We had 150+ kids receive supplies this year, so we may not have everything, but what we do have is there for you to use!  Again, thank you to everyone who supplied backpacks, or worked the event, or helped in any other way, It was a great way to bless our local communities!

Sunday School Teacher Volunteers

Would everyone who expressed interest in the 5th/6th Sunday School class please meet LuAnn up at the organ immediately following the service.

SchoolaPalooza is just around the corner!  This outreach provides an opportunity for us to serve our neighbors near and far by supplying school supplies and backpacks.  Last year we served well over 100 families, and we hope to reach at least that many again!  Could you help by supplying a backpack or two?  Nothing helps a child feel like they are ready for school like a new backpack, but it’s an expense that puts a strain on many family budgets.  If you can help, there will be a white tub under the coat rack for you to put your donation.  Thank you so much for being the hands and feet of Jesus as we minister to many!
