GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Offering Announcement

If the Lord leads you to give, please leave your offering in the offering plates which are in the foyer. Thank you.

Ever thought about teaching Sunday School?

For the last two years we’ve have been working with a rotating schedule for the Pre-K and Kinder Sunday School class, and we would love to be able to develop more consistency for them. The curriculum is designed for flexibility, including a time of bonding with the kids, then a lesson with activities, and then a time of prayer. You can even do songs with the kids if you like! You will have a solid list of substitutes for Sundays you cannot be there, too. Please let Jenny Sump or Pastor Stephanie know if you have questions or are interested.

Meals for Merlin

Let us bless Merlin and April Wendland with some freezer meals. If you want to contribute something, a meal for two would be appreciated. We need to watch sugar content and be sure to include directions for baking, etc. Meals can be left in the upright freezer in the kitchen.  Kelly will pick up and deliver.  If anyone has questions, please contact Donna Rundquist. Thanks in advance.

Holy Spirit Conference

When Jesus arose from the grave and ascended into Heaven, he promised to send the Holy Spirit to lead us, guide us and give us power to heal the sick and raise the dead. To have an intimate personal relationship with God! It is just as true today as it was then! Come experience the manifest presence of God! Learn to live in the presence. Unlock your Spiritual Gift and grow in your relationship with God! September 18th starting at 6:30 p.m. -September 19th at 6:00 p.m., Living Water Ranch, Olsburg, KS

$100 to attend.  Contact Jason Bergsten, jasonbergsten@gmail.com, 785-632-1992 for more information.

No More Bull (just Hamburger)

The meat has been picked up and is in the freezer downstairs. Please give however the Spirit leads you.  If you cannot give but need the meat, help yourself.

New Adult Sunday School Class

Colossians 1:6 says that the gospel is *continually* bearing fruit and *increasing* in and among us, even after we first believe it. In other words, the gospel shapes and forms our life and person every single day – it’s continual and not stagnant. Join us for Sunday School at 11am as we answer the following questions: Why is a continual rediscovery and application of the gospel so important? How does that happen? How will our personal growth and missional life be stunted if we do not grasp the gospel deeply?

Ice Cream Social

We have decided to postpone the Ice Cream Social for one month or more because of the increased Covid19 infections. We are being sensitive to listen to the concerns of our brothers and sisters from Manhattan Christian Fellowship.
