 Biblical Citizenship Class

Now more than ever, our nation is in need of Biblical citizens who grasp the dynamic unity of citizens of the Kingdom of God and citizens of this great nation!

This course offers the quick-start guide to the longest-standing Constitution in history, complete with an overview of all the Articles, and Amendments. What sets this apart from other U.S. Constitution courses is our Biblical heritage intricately woven throughout the entire course!

You will learn how the founders relied on their Christian moorings and Biblical worldview to secure the blessings of liberty. You will also be treated to encouraging historical facts and inspirational true stories that are not taught in our educational institutions today. All in all you will be edified and equipped to operationalize your faith and practice Biblical Citizenship in Modern America!*

* All information above is taken from the Patriot Academy narrative and has been edited for brevity.  For more information contact David and Rosemarie Alexander, constitution coaches.

 Thank You

Pastor Dwight and Karen appreciate all your prayers and loving support during this time as Dwight’s father went home to be with the Lord on July 1. Dwight and Karen attended Dean’s graveside service yesterday near Pandora, OH and will return on Monday and then to accommodate all of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren that are not available to attend the graveside service, there will be a Celebration of Life on July 28th.

 Sunday School Teachers Needed

We are looking for an individual to teach, or a couple of individuals to co-teach the 5th/6th grade Sunday School class.  This is a great group of kids!  If you are interested in serving as their teacher, please contact LuAnn ASAP.  Thank you!!

SchoolaPalooza is just around the corner!  This outreach provides an opportunity for us to serve our neighbors near and far by supplying school supplies and backpacks.  Last year we served well over 100 families, and we hope to reach at least that many again!  Could you help by supplying a backpack or two?  Nothing helps a child feel like they are ready for school like a new backpack, but it’s an expense that puts a strain on many family budgets.  If you can help, there will be a white tub under the coat rack for you to put your donation.  Thank you so much for being the hands and feet of Jesus as we minister to many! Questions?  As a CE team member!

Dear Church Family,

How can we begin to express our thanks to you all for the unbelievable ways you have surrounded our family during the loss of our dad?  We cannot imagine walking this path without you all by our side.  A huge thank you to all the ladies (and men) of the church for the bountiful meal we could share with family and friends.  Thank you to those who helped with childcare for our young ones.  Also, thanks to Mark and Jeanne Richter for their hard work cleaning before and after the service.  We would especially like to thank Pastor Dwight for his compassion and guidance during this difficult time.  Thanks, Deb, for the beautiful music, and Mike for keeping things working in the sound booth.  We appreciate all the cards, flowers, memorials and acts of kindness towards us, no matter how big or small, that have helped us through this time of grief.  We are truly blessed to call you our church family.

VBS

What an awesome week we have had learning to trust Jesus in this wild world!  A week like this would not be possible without the dedication of a LARGE group of volunteers.  So many individuals have given selflessly of their time and talents to bless our kids with a week to remember.  Whether you were a station leader, a crew leader, nursery staff, kitchen staff, decorator or anything in between, we could not have done it without you and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.  It truly is a special thing when God uses individuals and their special giftings to come together as a united team with the goal of reaching kids for Jesus.                       The Christian Education Team

Thank you also to everyone who so generously provided food and other needs that were asked for. Our congregation has blessed us beyond measure.

For those of you who prayed…. Your support was invaluable!  And finally…. Thank you to everyone who shared your children with us this week.  It was a fabulous week learning to trust Jesus in this wild world!
