Why would God, who knows everything, ask human beings anything? To confront people with His grace and His holiness, to communicate with humanity and to invite people to be honest with Him and themselves… and certainly, to get us thinking about reality rather than illusion. We see this in he questions he asks Adam and Eve, Jacob, Joshua, Elijah, Ezekiel and more. These are not just questions he asked, but questions we are to ask ourselves and consider now.

For the summer months, we will meet from 6:30 – 7:30pm on Wednesday evening in the fellowship hall.

Knowing the challenges of summer schedules, we have designed this to be a week-to-week study – perfect to do through the summer when life gets less predictable. With each week asking a different question, it will not be hard to miss a week and then return when you can!

A new High School Bible study begins on Mondays, starting March 22nd. Megan Blackburn will lead an in-depth study with 9th- 12th grade students hungry for God’s word.

Powerful things happen when we pray for one another, so consider joining Covenant Women in 2021 in our prayer partner ministry. This is an informal way for two women to check in with one another, to share praises and requests, to lift up and support, and to help discern and keep one another accountable. Signing up means we will match you with a partner, and you commit to praying for one another throughout the year. We recommend you check in with each other as often as you feel comfortable, whether in person or simple texting or calling. Each pair will have their own comfort level (which you can note on the sign-up form) in terms of commitment. This is really about making it work for you and connecting with the Lord and another woman in our church.

Christians know what Jesus Christ has done—but who is he? What is his deepest heart for his people, weary and faltering on their journey toward heaven? Jesus said he is “gentle and lowly in heart.” We will discuss two chapters in the award-winning book Gentle and Lowly by Dane Ortlund each week, opening up a neglected yet central truth about who Jesus is for sinners and sufferers today.
