We expect a large attendance for the Christmas program next Sunday with guests coming to watch their grandchildren. The pastoral staff graciously asks that a few regular attendees who do not have children or grandchildren in the program consider sitting in the old sanctuary during Worship. Thank you.

Church in Ministry lists

The end of the year is FAST approaching, and I will begin working on the first quarter church in ministry lists. These lists include greeters, nursery, scripture reading and candlelighters (Kindergarteners thru 5th graders). All these parts are a vital part of keeping our church moving. If there is a list you would like to not be included on, please let me know.

Adopt-A-Family

Adopt-A-Family has been blessed with many families that have signed up to be adopted and now we have a shortage of individuals who are willing to provide gifts for those families. If you are interested in blessing one of these families with Christmas gifts, contact Roxanne Klocke at 785-313-0764 or Charlotte Olsen, 785-313-2913. Wrapped gifts will need to be taken to the Riley Presbyterian Church on Thursday, December 16 or Friday, December 17 between the hours of 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Julotta

If you would like to favor us with a special number for Julotta, please let Pastor Dwight know of your willingness to sing or play.

Church Membership

If you are interested in joining our church, instructions and applications can be picked up in the church office. They are located on the wall in the church office.

Bibles

Study Bibles are available for those who do not have a Bible of their own. You may pick one up at the Welcome Center. The Bibles are provided as a gift to you.

A signup genius has been created for you to sign up for any of the Christmas stocking stuffer suggestions: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60B044DADAB2FA7FE3-christmas

There are the annual advent calendars in the foyer for each family to take home.

Thank You

Thanks to those of you who contributed to the Pastor Appreciation gift in October. It’s hard to believe it’s been almost 6 years already! Thank you so much for thinking of me and making me feel like part of this family. It is a privilege to be your pastor. – Pastor Stephanie

Keepers of the Faith for Girls

“It combines both spiritual and practical skills as a complete unit since there is really no difference between the secular and the sacred in the daily walk of a Christian. “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” —1 Corinthians 10:31. The purpose of this ministry is to guide and train young people to walk in the steps of our Lord Jesus Christ, day by day and moment by moment, in every situation. Jesus came to earth to complete the work God had given Him.” For more information about this group, please visit with Jenni Perry.

Benefit Pancake Feed for the Speicher Family

Saturday, November 6th 5- 8 p.m.

Two months ago, COVID struck the Speicher family- Jake, Amber, Ezra (11), Quinn (5), and Ozzy (2). Jake was hit the worst. He spent 3 weeks in the hospital with post-COVID pneumonia and continues to battle the effects of the illness, still not able to return to work. During Jake’s recovery time out of the hospital, Amber learned that both her sister and brother-in-law died unexpectedly. They lived in Denver and have two teenage children. Let’s pour out blessings on this family as they face lost wages through the fight and recovery of COVID and unexpected travel expenses to Denver.
