New Sunday School Class beginning! The younger adult class will start a new study in 1 John, asking the question, “How Shall We Then Live?”  At the time this book was written, John needed to address some important issues of the day. These issues that are still very important now, such as teaching the Word of God properly, loving each other well, and being fully devoted to Jesus. Join us after worship as we study and apply this important book!

Diaper Shower

With the new arrival of four new babies here at Alert, let us bless the Chaffee, Wright, Mitoska, and Hawkins family with diapers! It is an Alert tradition to shower every new arrival with plenty of diapers, big and small.   If you feel led to bless these families, you can leave your gift by the mailboxes with their name, for them to pick up at their convenience.

Men’s Encounter

Men’s Encounter is a time for us men to get away and encounter God, perhaps like never before; a time to consider, give thought to our lives, and discover solutions to the unique challenges facing men.

Who would you like to provide solutions for you?  Who better than God?

It is important to take the time to step away and gain perspective.  Whether you think you have it all figured out or not, you will benefit from attending and you will come home with no regrets. From the time you leave until the time you return, you will have nothing to worry about; all meals, transportation and lodging is included.  April 20-22, 2018, with multiple launch points. Registration can be done at encounterthecross.com and our church will cover half the registration fee for anyone going.  If you are interested but have questions, please visit with Andy Sedlacek or Troy Warnken.
