Wedding Shower
Alert family please join us for a wedding shower honoring Kelsey White and Velder Booth, Sunday April 27th, immediately following Sunday School. A noon meal with plenty of sweets will be provided. Rather than gifts, a money tree will be available for you to shower them with love.
CAMP L.I.T.
Latest update on the total number of campers is: 14 girls, 30 boys and for coed camp, there are 15 total. VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED!
Next mandatory training session is Saturday, April 26th from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Faith Church (located at 1921 Barnes Rd., Manhattan)
As a volunteer, you must attend ONE of the mandatory training sessions. To register for the training, please go to the Camp L.I.T. website – camplit.org. In the middle of the home page, you will find the Volunteer Application.

Camp L.I.T. Camp Dates are:
Girls’ Camp – June 19 thru June 22 (Ages 12-15)
Boys’ Camp – July 10 thru July 13 (Ages 12-15)
COED Camp – July 24 thru July 27 (Ages 16-18)
True North VBS is coming June 2-6th! Please sign up on the VBS table to let us know you are coming. May 4th at 5 p.m. we will be hosting a volunteer training meeting for all who have signed up to
help with VBS. We will have light refreshments, and plan to be done in time for youth group at 6:00. We have found this meeting to be very helpful in the past as it allows us to all be on the same page and provides an opportunity for questions. Please mark your calendar, and plan to attend! Decorations for VBS require lots of trees, namely Christmas trees. If you have undecorated trees you can loan to us, please contact April Wendland. Be sure to label your tree with your name so it can be returned to you.
Alert Road Race Updates – June 21, 2025
