BAPTISM

If you sense the Lord leading you to be baptized, please let Pastor Dwight know of your desire. We plan to have a baptismal service on a Sunday in August.

THANK YOU

Karen and I would like to thank the Alert Congregation for the beautiful plant arrangement in memory of Dwight’s father, Dean Diller, who went home to be with the Lord. Thank you for your thoughtfulness, your prayers, your contributions toward Dean’s memorial fund, and your loving support.

SchoolaPalooza is over, but the school supplies are still available!  If you were unable to make it, or if you know someone who could use some school supplies, visit the fellowship hall, and take anything you need.  We had 150+ kids receive supplies this year, so we may not have everything, but what we do have is there for you to use!  Again, thank you to everyone who supplied backpacks, or worked the event, or helped in any other way, It was a great way to bless our local communities!

Sunday School Teacher Volunteers

Would everyone who expressed interest in the 5th/6th Sunday School class please meet LuAnn up at the organ immediately following the service.

SchoolaPalooza is just around the corner!  This outreach provides an opportunity for us to serve our neighbors near and far by supplying school supplies and backpacks.  Last year we served well over 100 families, and we hope to reach at least that many again!  Could you help by supplying a backpack or two?  Nothing helps a child feel like they are ready for school like a new backpack, but it’s an expense that puts a strain on many family budgets.  If you can help, there will be a white tub under the coat rack for you to put your donation.  Thank you so much for being the hands and feet of Jesus as we minister to many! Questions?  As a CE team member!

 Biblical Citizenship Class

Now more than ever, our nation is in need of Biblical citizens who grasp the dynamic unity of citizens of the Kingdom of God and citizens of this great nation!

This course offers the quick-start guide to the longest-standing Constitution in history, complete with an overview of all the Articles, and Amendments. What sets this apart from other U.S. Constitution courses is our Biblical heritage intricately woven throughout the entire course!

You will learn how the founders relied on their Christian moorings and Biblical worldview to secure the blessings of liberty. You will also be treated to encouraging historical facts and inspirational true stories that are not taught in our educational institutions today. All in all you will be edified and equipped to operationalize your faith and practice Biblical Citizenship in Modern America!*

 Thank You

Pastor Dwight and Karen appreciate all your prayers and loving support during this time as Dwight’s father went home to be with the Lord on July 1. Dwight and Karen attended Dean’s graveside service yesterday near Pandora, OH and will return on Monday and then to accommodate all of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren that are not available to attend the graveside service, there will be a Celebration of Life on July 28th.

 Sunday School Teachers Needed

We are looking for an individual to teach, or a couple of individuals to co-teach the 5th/6th grade Sunday School class.  This is a great group of kids!  If you are interested in serving as their teacher, please contact LuAnn ASAP.  Thank you!!
