Julotta is a special tradition at Alert that we love to celebrate on Christmas morning. We gather at 6:00 a.m. in the sanctuary for a candlelit service of Christmas carols, special numbers, reading of the Christmas story, and a monologue portraying one of the characters from the Christmas story. If you would like to bring a special number for Julotta, please let Pastor Dwight know what you would like to do. Vocal and instrumental numbers are welcome.

Here is a digital version of the readings that accompany this year’s Advent Calendar, in case you are traveling and still want to keep up with the daily devotionals and activities.

We’re gettin’ creative – again! The annual SchoolaPalooza event will be at Alert this year, in open house style. So come and go as you can on August 3rd, 4th and 5th between 10am and 8pm. We’ll have the supply lists for Riley and Blue Valley there for you to consult, and some pre-packaged snacks in case you see a friend and want to stay and chat.
Volunteers are needed to help families fill up their bags! Sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0f4daaa72da6ffc70-schoolapalooza

God has called us to worship him, and just as many types of people he created, there are ways to experience him as we worship. Worship Pastor Laurie Larson will share with us her thoughts on experiencing God in worship and how we might begin to explore and answer questions such as:
Do you ever wonder if there is more to be had of Jesus?
Is there a freedom to be had in our worship of Him?
Am I doing what I can to have more of Him?
What can I do when I simply don’t feel like worshipping? Is my lack of hunger and thirst normal?
