Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box Ministry

Thank you to all those who have donated items for this ministry!  We are still in need of some items.  Those needs can be found on the Shoebox board by the coat racks.  Please check out the board if you feel led to donate items.

Diaper Shower

With the arrival of Rafe Tucker, let us bless the Tucker family with diapers! It is an Alert tradition to shower every new arrival with plenty of diapers, big and small.   If you feel led to bless the Tucker family, you can leave your gift by the mailboxes with their name, for them to pick up at their convenience.

Alert Road Race

The Alert Road Race was a tradition we had for many years to help raise funds for our youth.  Amber Speicher would like to get this up and running again (pun intended).  If you would be interested and/or willing to help get this going, please reach out to Amber.  Her number is 720-219-5986 or email at ambergel77@gmail.com

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Life Chain Sunday

The National Life Chain is the largest prayerful, pro-life witness in the world. More than 1800 cities across the US and Canada are expected to participate on Sunday, Oct. 1st, 2:30-4pm.

Our local chapter will host the Life Chain beginning at 2:30 at First Baptist Church, Clay Center.

Hayrack Ride

Our annual church hayrack ride is planned for Sunday, October 8.  We will leave on the ride following Sunday School around 12.  We will roast hotdogs and marshmallows. Please plan to bring a side or two to share.

Northern Riley County Food Pantry NEED

The Northern Riley County Food Pantry needs plastic grocery bags.  You may put those bags in either the lime green tote under the coat racks or in the basket located by the south entrance to the Fellowship Hall.  Thank you.
