Hay Bid

The CRP behind the church is now out of contract, so the trustees have decided to offer it up to be baled. There is approximately 35-40 acres of grass to be put up; it has been burned the last two consecutive years. We are accepting sealed bids on a per ton basis of the hay that is removed. We are not 100% sure of how many acres are hayable, so we will start out this way versus a per acre basis. This is open to anyone needing the hay. Please submit bids to Brent Craig, Ray Shultz, or Darren Hofmann by October 20. We would ask that all bales be removed and paid for by December 15, 2022.

Whether you’ve grown up hearing Bible stories or you’re exploring Scripture for the first time, the full story of the Bible can be overwhelming.  The 66 books may seem disconnected at first glance.  In this study, Angie Smith shows you how the whole Bible – from Genesis through Revelation- connects as one beautiful, seamless thread.  The 6 week study will be spread out over the course of 3 months to best allow full participation by any who are interested.  We plan to meet every other week at 6:30 pm at Alert to view the video and go through the accompanying questions.  Below is our tentative schedule:

October 10 6:30 – intro & session 2

October 24 6:30 – session 3

November 7 6:30 – session 4

November 21 6:30 – session 5

December 5 6:30 – session 6

December 19 6:30 – session 7

If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Kayla Chaffee at (785)675-9201 or Luke Chaffee at (785)632-0677.
