Because of our increased attendance and our desire to be sensitive to the needs of visitors, it will be helpful for them to find seating if we who arrive earlier move toward the center of the row and toward the front.

Winter Getaways for Elementary Kids

Covenant Kids Camp is hosting a Winter Getaway at the Covenant Church in Lindsborg on February 29^th. If your child is age 2^nd – 6^th Grade and may be interested in going to Rock Springs this summer for camps, this is a great opportunity to get a fun preview of what it will be like. If your child has gone to Covenant Kids Camp, this is a fun chance for them to see their friends from last year! Registration is required and the forms are in the church office. See Pastor Stephanie with any questions you have.

Victory Village/Shoebox

Please remember to send cards and letters of encouragement to your Victory Village girl. If you need the address again, please contact Rose or Randi.  For shoe boxes this month we are collecting soap any type but prefer Ivory.  Also, be looking for washcloths, marbles, fishing hooks, sewing needles, and donations towards purchasing the shoe boxes and soccer balls.  Soccer balls are a great gift and Rose would like to purchase 100 of them.  If you feel led to help purchase the balls, please speak to Rose.

Call to Fasting and Prayer- Don’t Forget!

We are committed to covering 2020 in prayer and fasting as a church body. We have a quarterly schedule out in the foyer for people to sign up to pray and fast and some days are still open for this quarter. Please consider choosing a day to set aside for this spiritual discipline.

Financial Peace University

We are considering offering Financial Peace University beginning March 1^st depending upon how much interest there is. The course is nine weeks long and we would hold the course on Sunday evenings at 5:00 p.m. with a meal provided. Each session would be about one and a half hours. Dave Ramsey is the presenter via video and each session concludes with discussion over the contents. If you are interested in participating, please tell Pastor Dwight.

T-Shirts

If you are interested in ordering a t-shirt like the t-shirts designed for the Mexico Mission team, please visit with Rose Linhardt. This is a fundraiser for the mission trip coming up in the summer of 2020.

Creation Family Camp

Alpha Omega Institute invites you to Creation Camp held at Camp Witness in North Central Nebraska.  This camp is meant to fortify you and your family with the truth of God’s Word beginning from Genesis 1:1. Come alone or bring your kids!  Grandparents with grandkids are welcome, too.  They need to hear the Biblical and scientific evidence that God is their creator not evolution.  This is a family-oriented camp with amazingly illustrated Creation teaching, hands on activities, and recreational activities for younger children, teens and adults.  May 22-25, 2020.  Check out their website www.discovercreation.com for more information. 

Kimberly Hay from Liberal, KS who is the daughter of Leland and Marion Lund, died unexpectedly this past Wednesday. As we look ahead to 2020, our leadership has set a goal of nurturing a culture of prayer at Alert. We want to encourage our congregation to join us in committing to pray and fast for a day from time to time in 2020. We would like to fill the calendar with volunteers who are willing to participate.  A sign-up sheet with the first three months will be available at the Welcome Center for volunteers to sign up for a day to fast and pray.

Pray to End Abortion

This Wednesday, January 22, is the 47^th anniversary of the Roe vs. Wade U. S. Supreme Court decision which legalized abortion throughout the nation. Please pray for an end to abortion and a restoration of the sanctity of all human life.

Babysitting Night

Need a night out or to get some things done around the house without kids?  Let the mission team help you out!  There will be lots of fun activities planned to keep the kiddos busy.  It was a fun night the last time and they are hoping to get more kids to join in this time! Be on the lookout for a date and more details! 

Covenant Women Bible Study

Scripture answers some of the most fundamental questions we have, such as: Who are we?  Where do we belong?  How do we live included in Christ? Join us on Tuesday night for an in-depth study in Galatians and Ephesians examining these passionate questions we have in our heart. We will meet at the VFW in Randolph from 6:30 to 8pm. This study is open to all women, so please invite your friends!

Winter Get-Away 2019

Winter Get Away is for children 2^nd-6^th grade who can come together and connect with friends they made at Covenant Kids Camp this past summer while also worshiping, playing fun games and biblical learning. This year’s winter get away will be February 29^th.  More details to come later!

This winter our intentions are to have Sunday services unless there is a blizzard or severe ice storm. In case of a cancellation, our deacons/deaconess will call you and let you know, or you can check the church Facebook page.

Church Membership
